| View in browser Could These Homebuying Resources Boost Your Clients' Search? The Texas State Affordable Housing Corporation (TSAHC) can be a huge help to your clients seeking affordable housing. TSAHC partners with lenders to offer fixed-rate mortgage loans and downpayment assistance to qualifying homebuyers. In 2024, TSAHC helped with the issuance of $2 billion in mortgage loans and assisted 8,725 households.   As you help your clients find affordable housing, consider sharing these TSAHC resources with them to let them know about their options.   Discover if your clients are eligible Your clients can take an eligibility quiz and apply for a loan.   Learn more about TSAHC programs Your clients can watch short videos from TSAHC to learn more about their services.   What’s available nearby TSAHC divides Texas into eight regions. Your clients can select their region to see what’s offered.   Get answers to your questions TSAHC has answers to frequently asked questions on its website.   Consider a homebuyer education class TSAHC and partner organizations offer several classes to prepare your clients to buy a home.   To help your clients even more, you can work toward earning your Texas Affordable Housing Specialist certification offered by Texas REALTORS®. Classes are hosted by local associations throughout Texas and this Texas-specific coursework teaches you about fair housing, lending practices, and important information regarding workforce housing. You can be nominated by your charity, nominate yourself, or you can nominate another deserving REALTOR®.
